NYT Games: Word Games & Sudoku App Reviews

If I give you money (and I did, twice) for content, then there shouldnt be ads. Also, I cant listen to my music when this app opens. So what could be the perfect app for a long plane ride becomes useless to me.

I actually like this program but I hate the way it is updated to the next days puzzle and mini puzzle so early in the day. At 3:05 pm today, I went into this app to work on both the mini and the actual puzzle only to find that the dickweeds had already rolled over the apps calendar to the next day. I can still get the daily puzzle but not the mini. Its gone for good and my stats for consecutive days etc. are screwed. Seriously!,, 3:05 pm and you screw me over? Are you running on Greenwich mean time???

Love the app: as far as my iPad is concerned, its more heavily used than my mail client! But please please please give me credit for a streak if I finish before midnight. Im often racing against an unguessable deadline, particularly at the weekends. And here on the west coast, I just cant beat the clock on evenings. Come on, loosen up a little. There are no cash prizes, after all!

Ive had this app for at least two years and have bought quite a few puzzle packages along the way. Within this past week, any time I click to play it just shuts down. Ive tried deleting, re-downloading, rebooting the phone, and nothing works. Ive waited a few days thinking the issue would soon be solved but it hasnt.
