Love the app, but fail to see the improvements in the new version: much slower and keeps crashing!

Great app, no bugs encountered.

Excellent in every way. Massive catalog means youre never without an old Saturday crossword to do on those lean Monday-Tuesday-Wednesdays....

I use this app every day, most often using the calendar option to go back for old Sunday puzzles. Im back to 2008. It is stable, clear and great on the iPad.

Perfect start to the day here in France

Ive subscribed to this app for the past 3 years, and I never had a problem until May 2013. Since then, the daily puzzles appear on the wrong calendar day, sometimes it wont let be download the new puzzle, and an error message pops up constantly stating that it cant save my game. I wrote to magmic about this problem. They said they were aware of it and were trying to fix it. Alternatively, they said I could delete the game from my iPhone and reinstall it, but I would lose all of my saved and in-progress games. Three years worth of games gone! Its been nearly two months since this problem started, I expect a fix very soon or a refund on the yearly membership I paid.

I have been having lots of problems downloading puzzles lately. No Sunday puzzle, two monday puzzles, no Wednesday, etc. This have been going on for the last few months. Everything was fine before that. I really do enjoy doing the puzzles, and find myself too often disappointed.

We used to have to order books of NYT Sunday crossword puzzles, but now we have them whenever and wherever we want (as long as theres WiFi). Really enjoy doing them on the iPad. And, living in France and traveling throughout Europe, were almost never without a puzzle to do.

The crossword itself is really good, but this app keeps on failing: not delivering puzzles on the right day, failing to recognize subscriptions. The support team is no use even when they do bother to respond. I wish the NYT hadnt opted for Magmic

Living outside the US, what would I do without this app. It starts my day and has done so for years. Love it.

I do the xword daily and live it. Dont understand why suddenly there are ads on the app. At €14.99 shouldnt have to see them.

Well devised puzzles.

Puh, if English isnt your mother tongue, then solving the NYT crosswords is far from easy. Im German and alwyas thought my English to be ok, but I only manage to solve around 40% on my own. But I hope to get better ^_^ Theres always the possibility to check on words, reveal letters etc. So you can always find a way to solve it. The enter modes are easy to use and you can choose from a broad variety of crosswords. This app offers you a lot for being free! Id recommend it to anybody who likes to solve crosswords and whose English level is above average!!

The new version is really good! The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because there isnt an undo.... Sometimes you press a letter by mistake and undo Would be great ...

ok, so the program downloads the crossword, and checks your entries. we could have had that in the 90s, but why does it crash so much?

simple to use and great puzzles... there are a few glitches in the programming that keep this from being 5 stars but it is still really good.
